Configuration management for Cisco backbone network

Cílem diplomové práce bylo vytvořit aplikaci pro správu konfigurací páteřní sítě od firmy Cisco. Tato aplikace měla umožnit uživateli jednoduchou a přehlednou manipulaci s konfiguračními soubory. Jejím úkolem bylo komunikovat se zařízením pomocí vzdáleného připojení a stahovat podle potřeb uživatele konfigurační soubory. Program měl splňovat i funkci opačnou – nahrávat konfigurační soubory zpět na zařízení. Dále měla aplikace poskytovat možnost ověření dostupnosti zařízení pro vzdálené připojení. V realizaci byl pro ověření dostupnosti použit protokol ICMP, vzdálené připojení obstarává protokol telnet a pro přenos konfiguračních souborů se používá protokol TFTP. Program je realizován multivláknově v jazyce Java s podporou grafické knihovny Swing. Podporuje verzování konfiguračních souborů. Uživateli je umožněno ovládat program za chodu i pomocí editace textového souboru, do kterého program ukládá svou konfiguraci. Program a jeho vlastnosti jsou podrobně popsány v druhé části práce. První část je věnována teoretickým poznatkům z oblasti IP sítí a konfigurace zařízení Cisco v páteřní síti pomocí vzdáleného připojení.The main aim of the master thesis was to create an application for backbone network configuration management. The priority of the application was to be effective and easy to take. Program has to be able to communicate with network devices by remote control and to download and upload configuration files. The program has enable also availability verification for remote control. For this purpose the ICMP protocol was used. The remote control is provided by telnet protocol and the protocol TFTP has been chosen for file tranfers providing. The application is a multithreading application based on the Java programming language. The Java graphic library Swing was used for GUI creation. The application supports file versioning, the configuration of the program can be saved as a text file, which can be easy changed by user. The program and its features are described in the second part of this thesis. The first part deals with theoretical facts about the IP networks and remote control of the Cisco backbone network devices.

Database Design for a Selected Company

Cílem této práce je návrh databáze pro vybranou společnost, která se týká tvorby výrobních štítků. V rámci této práce se budu zabývat především návrhem struktury této databáze a následně její implementací. Databáze bude realizována na platformě Microsoft SQL Server za pomocí nástrojů Microsoft Management Studia.The aim of this thesis is to design a database for a selected company, which concerns the creation of production labels. Within this thesis I am going to concentrate on designing the structure of the database and its implementation. The database will be implemented on the Microsoft SQL Server platform using the tools of Microsoft Management Studio.

1 Sanctioning of legal persons Abstract Sanctioning of legal person is a topic that is more than relevant. Although the phenomena of criminal liability of legal person is not unknown to the continental Europe, rapid development can be seen in the second half of 20th century and in the beginning of the 21st century where most of European countries enacted laws regarding criminal liability of legal persons. The Czech Republic enacted the Act No. 418/2011 Coll. on the criminal liability of legal persons (hereinafter "ZTOPO"). This diploma thesis is divided into six parts. The first part is about criminal liability of legal persons in general. It provides a quick historical evaluation and analysis of the term criminal liability of legal persons itself, then it is focused on the ZTOPO. The second part is focused on compliance program with regard to its function, preferable content and relevant case law. The third and fourth part is the core of this diploma thesis. The third part solely focuses on sanctioning of legal entities under the ZTOPO. It separately describes every sanction that could be imposed under the law and focuses on the deficits of the legislation. The fourth part describes the criminal liability of legal persons in France, Germany and Austria and thus provides international comparison with the...Sankcionování právnických osob Abstrakt Sankcionování právnických osob je tématem více než aktuálním. Ačkoli fenomén odpovědnosti právnických osob nebyl v průběhu historie kontinentálního systému práva ničím neznámým, k definitivnímu rozmachu došlo až ve druhé polovině dvacátého. a na počátku jednadvacátého století, kdy téměř všechny státy Evropy postupně trestní odpovědnost právnických osob zakotvily do svých právních řádů. Česká republika tak učinila zákonem č. 418/2011 Sb., o trestní odpovědnosti právnických osob, zkráceně ZTOPO. Tato práce je rozdělena do šesti částí. První část pojednává obecně o trestní odpovědnosti právnických osob včetně stručného historického popisu. Druhá část se věnuje compliance programu, a to z hlediska jeho funkce i obsahu v kontextu relevantní judikatury. Třetí a čtvrtá část tvoří jádro celé práce. Behavioral Factors Affecting Reproduction in Domestic Horses: Sociobiological Approach

Fetal loss is a common phenomenon in domestic horses, being usually highest (up to 40%) of all domestic ungulates. However, in all studies investigating this problem, sociobiological approach, such as conflict between the evolutionary interests of individuals of the two sexes, has been neglected. Here we summarize results of three consecutive studies considering infanticide as a male’s reproductive strategy and a mare’s counter strategies against it. When a mare was either artificially inseminated or removed from her home environment and transported elsewhere for mating and then returned back into her home environment, containing a stallion (and/or gelding) who did not sire her fetus, she got into a potentially infanticidal danger. She more likely disrupted her pregnancy than a mare living in an environment with the sire of her fetus. This was highly affected by the social environment. Lowest percentage of pregnancy disruption can be achieved when the pregnant mare was released into an enclosure shared with the non-sire male whom she can “convince” he is the father of her expected foal by promiscuous mating. The effects of social environment leading to pregnancy block and/or disruption may thus explain substantial part of the high incidence of domestic horse fetal loss

System for the support of comparison of algorithms for noise reduction in audiosignal

Hlavním cílem bylo vytvořit systém pro práci s audio signály, který je uživatelsky přívětivý, ale zároveň též připravený pro možnosti rozšíření. Program byl realizován knihovnou Qt v operačním systému Linux Ubuntu 7.4, programovacími jazyky byly C a C++. Dalším úkolem bylo demonstrovat funkčnost programu na metodách odšumování jednokanálových nahrávek řeči. Pro tento účel byly implementovány metoda spektrálního odečítání a metoda prahování spektrogramu, obě s využitím FFT. Součástí práce je teoretický rozbor implementace do GUI a implementovaných metod, částečný popis programu a jeho struktury, jak byla vytvořena, a návod k použití programu.The main purpose is to create a system for working with audio-signal, which is user-friendly and ready for next expansion. The program is developed in the Qt library of the Linux Ubuntu 7.4 operating system with using of C/C++ language. Another purpose is to demonstrate the functionality of the program on simple channel speech. To this aim there are implemented algorithms of the spectral subtraction and of the spektrogram's tresholding with using of FFT algorithm. The parts of the work are the teoretical part of the GUI implementation and the implementation of denoising methods, a partial description of the program and his structure and instruction manual.

Environmental education as part of geographical education

Tato disertační práce se zabývá environmentální výchovou jako součástí geografického vzdělávání. Environmentální výchova představuje jedno z průřezových témat, jehož implementace do výuky je dle platných kurikulárních dokumentů závazná a toto téma by mělo být rozvíjeno ve všech oblastech vzdělávání. Cílem práce je přinést zjištění, která rozšíří poznání o tom, jakým způsobem učitelé naplňují cíle environmentální výchovy, resp. gramotnosti na českých školách. Dále je zjišťováno, jakou roli v naplňování těchto cílů hraje geografie, resp. vzdělávací předmět zeměpis. Ze zvoleného cíle vyplývají následující výzkumné otázky: Které oblasti environmentální gramotnosti jsou u žáků ve výuce rozvíjeny? o Jakým způsobem k jejich naplňování dochází? Které vyučovací předměty se podle koordinátorů EVVO nejvíce podílejí na realizaci průřezového tématu environmentální výchova o Jakou roli v realizaci hraje zeměpis? Učitelé jsou pro žáky jedním z hlavních zdrojů informací o této problematice. Proto byla také zjišťována environmentální gramotnost vybrané skupiny učitelů a studentů učitelství. Sport-hotel Frýdlant

V mé diplomové práci budu řešit návrh projektové dokumentace pro sport hotel. Tento objekt je situován do klidné jihovýchodní části města Frýdlant s výhledem na město a dobrou dostupností do okolních sportovních zařízení. Jde o objekt z části dvoupodlažní a jedním podzemním podlažím. Budova je zasazena do svažitého terénu, tudíž podzemní podlaží vybíhá na terén. Objekt je založen na základových pasech a základových patkách ze železobetonu. Nosné stěny podzemního podlaží jsou navrženy jako železobetonové. Stropní konstrukce budovy je tvořena železobetonovou trámovou stropní konstrukcí a v další části křížem vyztuženou železobetonovou deskou. Obvodové a nosné stěny dvou nadzemních podlaží, jsou navrženy z akustických vápenopískových tvárnic Silka. Obvodové stěny jsou zatepleny kontaktním zateplovacím systémem. Bylo zvoleno ploché jednoplášťové zastřešení nad částí restaurace a dvouplášťové, s nosnou vazníkovou konstrukcí, nad hlavní částí budovy. Objekt je rozdělen na funkční části. Ubytovací kapacity jsou převážně v druhém nadzemním podlaží. V přízemí se nachází restaurační zařízení s kuchyní a prostory pro personál. V podzemním podlaží je funkční část wellness a posilovny se společnými šatnami. Jediný vstup pro hosty umožňuje pohodlnou kontrolu pohybu osob. Objekt je bezbariérový.In my thesis I will deal with the draft project documentation for sport hotel. This object is located in the quiet southeastern part of Frydlant with city views and easy access to the nearby sports facilities. It is an object of part two storey and a basement. The building is set into the sloping terrain, so the underground floor extends on to the ground. The building is based on foundation walls and footings that are made of reinforced concrete. Load-bearing walls of the underground floors are designed as reinforced concrete. Ceiling structure of the building is made as reinforced concrete beam ceiling and in other structure parts as a crosswise reinforced concrete plate. Perimeter bearing walls and two floors, are designed from the acoustic sand-lime bricks Silk. External walls are warmed by a contact insulation system. Flat single shell roof was chosen over part of the restaurant. Double-layer roof with a supporting truss structures above the main part of the building. The building is divided into functional parts. Accommodation capacities are mostly on the second floor. On the ground floor there is a restaurant with a kitchen and space for staff. In the basement there is a functional part of the wellness and gym with common dressing rooms. The only entrance path allows convenient control of customers. The building is wheelchair accessible.

Meta-analyses in psychology often overestimate evidence for and size of effects

Adjusting for publication bias is essential when drawing meta-analytic inferences. However, most methods that adjust for publication bias do not perform well across a range of research conditions, such as the degree of heterogeneity in effect sizes across studies. Sladekova et al. 2022 (Estimating the change in meta-analytic effect size estimates after the application of publication bias adjustment methods. Psychol. Methods) tried to circumvent this complication by selecting the methods that are most appropriate for a given set of conditions, and concluded that publication bias on average causes only minimal over-estimation of effect sizes in psychology. However, this approach suffers from a ‘Catch-22’ problem—to know the underlying research conditions, one needs to have adjusted for publication bias correctly, but to correctly adjust for publication bias, one needs to know the underlying research conditions. To alleviate this problem, we conduct an alternative analysis, robust Bayesian meta-analysis (RoBMA), which is not based on model-selection but on model-averaging. In RoBMA, models that predict the observed results better are given correspondingly larger weights. A RoBMA reanalysis of Sladekova et al.’s dataset reveals that more than 60% of meta-analyses in psychology notably overestimate the evidence for the presence of the meta-analytic effect and more than 50% overestimate its magnitude

A novel resource for genomics of Triticeae: BAC library specific for the short arm of rye (Secale cereale L.) chromosome 1R (1RS)

<p>Abstract</p> <p>Background</p> <p>Genomics of rye (<it>Secale cereale </it>L.) is impeded by its large nuclear genome (1C~7,900 Mbp) with prevalence of DNA repeats (> 90%). An attractive possibility is to dissect the genome to small parts after flow sorting particular chromosomes and chromosome arms. To test this approach, we have chosen 1RS chromosome arm, which represents only 5.6% of the total rye genome. The 1RS arm is an attractive target as it carries many important genes and because it became part of the wheat gene pool as the 1BL.1RS translocation.</p> <p>Results</p> <p>We demonstrate that it is possible to sort 1RS arm from wheat-rye ditelosomic addition line. Using this approach, we isolated over 10 million of 1RS arms using flow sorting and used their DNA to construct a 1RS-specific BAC library, which comprises 103,680 clones with average insert size of 73 kb. The library comprises two sublibraries constructed using <it>Hin</it>dIII and <it>Eco</it>RI and provides a deep coverage of about 14-fold of the 1RS arm (442 Mbp). We present preliminary results obtained during positional cloning of the stem rust resistance gene <it>SrR</it>, which confirm a potential of the library to speed up isolation of agronomically important genes by map-based cloning.</p> <p>Conclusion</p> <p>We present a strategy that enables sorting short arms of several chromosomes of rye. Using flow-sorted chromosomes, we have constructed a deep coverage BAC library specific for the short arm of chromosome 1R (1RS). This is the first subgenomic BAC library available for rye and we demonstrate its potential for positional gene cloning. We expect that the library will facilitate development of a physical contig map of 1RS and comparative genomics of the homoeologous chromosome group 1 of wheat, barley and rye.</p
